You won't be able to drive right down to the water — but you won't need to. Our car park sits only a short walk from the Pragser Wildsee, so the lake is just a few minutes away on foot. Outside the busy season you can simply turn up and park whenever it suits you.
The summer road closure
Between 1 July and 15 September the access road is closed to general traffic every day from 9:00 to 16:00. The easiest way to be waved through during those hours is to reserve your visit online before you set off — a confirmed booking guarantees your passage down to the lake.
The day-stay ticket
Our day-stay ticket pairs a reserved space at car park P4 with a meal voucher you can spend at any of the three places on site — Emma's Bistro, the Panorama Restaurant and the Chalet. It also locks in your right to reach the lake while the road is closed.
Staying at the Hotel Pragser Wildsee?
Hotel guests park free of charge. If you're booked for three nights or more you'll use car park PH; for shorter stays it's P4. Either way, your access to the lake stays open throughout the summer closure.
